This initiative came about from a number of things:
A meeting, that didn't land anywhere
A conversation, about the state of things
A webinar, that sparked my interest (probably too much, that I couldn't sleep 😅)
Anyway, at one point I asked myself: "Well... what are you going to do about it Evonne?"
So this is my answer.
It's a start, a small spark, more of an experiment than a grand plan. The hope is that even if the initiative itself doesn't last, it sparks something and leaves things a bit better than before.
It felt a bit daunting to pitch this at first. But then my friend J randomly sent me this passage by Musings from the Moon – and I was like, this is a sign!! ⭐ (Yes I was on the train 😬).

It’s a quarterly space for our team to explore a tool, an idea, a framework – basically anything that prompts us to rethink how we design and deliver learning for our learners. A space to experiment. To test. To play with possibilities. To ask, “How could we make this better?”
Because if we don’t deliberately block time to learn, reflect, and share, it gets swallowed by everything else. And then we wonder why nothing changes.
So this is us – choosing to make the time to learn, collaborate, and explore together.
